What’s The Point?
What is the goal of this blog?
The goal of this blog is simple. It is here to educate and promote human rights, safer use, and acceptance. It is here to make the alienated feel connected. It is here to inspire hope and change by doing what we can to keep our neighbors safe. Harm reduction is so important.
What can you expect to learn here?
Each published blog will be written with harm reduction in mind. There will be blogs about specific drugs, their uses, and history plus tips for safer consumption and where to find valuable resources. We won’t ONLY be talking drugs though. Harm reduction intersects with soooo many different people from unique walks of life. Because of this, I will be expanding the blogs from not only drugs but also to sex work, mental health, communication, and much more.
Throughout this journey, all I ask is that you please be aware that there is a trigger warning that goes with everything you'll find on this website and I will be getting very vulnerable with personal experiences. But through all the material, one goal is in mind, and that goal is to reduce harm. We are here to support one another and create a safer environment for our neighbors. Let’s look at these blogs as an opportunity to learn from some interesting, heart breaking, laughable, and hopeful stories/studies. And let’s also use this information and this space as a way to open a dialogue. Talking about a problem is the first step to fixing it. I just ask that we all do it respectfully.
How often will blogs be published?
One new blog will be published on the 16th of every month.
Blogs will also periodically be updated to reflect any new and reliable information brought to my attention.
